Beyonce's new video for Sweet Dreams has already hit the net earlier than expected, and for those of you who thrive on B News A.I.R has your fix. I am not even going to describe this one i am just gonna let you see it and be the judge. Although i will not provide a description i will say thank god she changed her game up, i don't think i could endure another Recession Budget video (i.e EGO), talk about a let down. As always enjoy and comment, lets us know if you like it or hate it but let us know something.

Breath of Fresh AIR : Solange
While Solange's Album has been out for quite some time i thought i should still drop and ol reveiw for this musical powerhouse!
By Reggie Larkin
After five years of silence, Solange Knowles is back and this time she is taking no prisoners with her sophomore effort SoL-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. This go round Mrs. Knowles manifested her destiny by creating an album that is a true reflection of who she is as an artist. Solange has managed to avoid many of the pitfalls of her first album SoloStar , by taking creative control of her career. At first listen to the single’s “I decided” and “Sandcastle Disco”, the audience get’s the impression that this album is paying homage to the greats of Motown. Although, that is what the singles may say to the public ,the album’s standout tracks scream of an artist who has found her voice and is unafraid to utilize it. Songs such as T.O.N.Y , This Bird, and Would’ve been the one truly showcase Knowles voice and lyrical content . T.O.N.Y is a song about a guy who solange met and just can’t seem to shake. The songs infectious chant “I would have been in love by now if it wasn’t for T.O.N.Y , T.O.N.Y” ring in the listeners head well after the song has ended .and if the fact that the song was catchy wasn’t enough , Solange uses T.O.N.Y to invoke the spirit of Martha and the vandellas at their prime in 1965. Solange’s agile soprano is something to be in awe of. In an age, where many artist are restricted to a three note range, it is refreshing to see a pop singer who can sing, and not yell.

Check It Out: Video Review of LeToya Luckett- She Ain't Got
By: Alex Langston
,
Going with a 60's theme in her first video off her sophomore album Lady Love, LeToya's second single "She Ain't Got" is more of a 2009 club scene inspired video. It's definitely more amped up than previous singles she's released and bound to do well at parties and in clubs, and fortunately the video also gives off that vibe.
The Houston based singer hasn't really had as much success with singles or videos the way she did in 2006 with the single "Torn" off her self titled album, LeToya but "She Ain't Got" is sure to change all of that. So far the video has gotten mixed reviews, mostly because its much different from what she's known for. For starters she's dancing, and not those little two-step moves some singers are famous for (you know the shimming, and side to side action)but she's getting down with actual choreography. She didn't look stiff like many reviewers have said but she did look like she was a bit out of her comfort zone.
Her style is nonetheless chic in this video. The Chinese bang, the bun, the skin tight multi-colored leggings, and the metallic gold stiletto's-- which are to die for-- shows that she has good taste in style. Her lyrical style on this track is something to rave about as well. One line in particular that stands out is "I done let you out to play but you ain't playin' fair, you done let this lil' stray bring fleas 'round here", followed by, "swing batter, batter, batter...right at her batter, batter" which sounds like ol' Toya is fed up and wants to take more than just a "swing" at homegirl.
We're all hoping that this time around LeToya gets more recognition for her singing abilities and creative style, because in a time when people are kind of tired of Rihanna's edginess and Beyonce's huge "Ego" it's time to see another starlet shine, after all, she has stepped her game up.
